Sagan Fina'nå'guen Fino' CHamoru Daycare, a Chamorro-language day care has been open since September 1, 1999 caring for children ages one month to twelve years old. We understand that choosing a facility to care for your child is a tough decision. We offer a tour of a daycare for potential students. Choosing Sagan Fina'nå'guen Fino' CHamoru Daycare is a CHamoru language facility with the mission to pass on the language to the next generation, that teaches cultural lessons, basic American Sign Language, and STEAM lessons to your nenis.

Philosophy

Our philosophy is that children learn through interaction, play, and socializing. Children learn about themselves, others, and the world around them through play. Play is a child's fundamental and natural response to their environment. We believe that children should be children. Our program makes use of many play and learning materials that help the child gain confidence in their abilities to do and make things, guided by the responsible adults who are nurturing, giving, caring, and an influential role model who will flourish in our clean and friendly environment.

Sagan Fina'nå'guen Fino CHamoru Daycare is a child care facility that is committed to providing a positive and stimulating environment that is warm and inviting for all children to develop at their own pace. We offer a daycare that is set on making a difference. We are here to ensure the survival of the CHamoru language and culture for our future generation. Your child will enjoy enhancing their social, emotional, intellectual, cognitive, and fine/gross motor skills all while building confidence and positive self esteem.

Goal

Our goals at Sagan Fina'nå'guen Fino' CHamoru Daycare is to simply present a safe, nurturing, and
pleasant learning environment for our young children to grow. Also, to have our children speak and comprehend the CHamoru language. Furthermore, to have an understanding of the CHamoru culture which is taught by and strengthened through our staff.
